The time is spinning like in a merry-go-round. It is hard for us to get used to this feeling again. You might laugh but last week was full of news. We have learned that we are being fired, that we will not get the money that we have honestly earned, then we were very pissed, later – relaxed. Managed to travel to other Brazilian village Taiba and meet a bunch of Lithuanians. Then we have moved into a dream house and last few days were absolutely amazing…

However, lets start at the beginning.

It is kind of a joke for me and Girmantas that we lost the job in the middle of Brazil. After quite successful careers, we had to travel for thousands of kilometers to be fired for the first time. However, this kind of situations are always unpleasant. There are always two sides and none of them is 100 percent right. Still, those who know us, knows that if we do something, we are doing it form the very heart. I know that I have done my best for this company too. Thus, my conscience is clear. However, it is very unpleasant that our past employer couldn’t fairly admit that it was his mistake (to hire us both). Even more embarrassing is that we didn’t get paid what we were promised. They still owe us some money. In my humble opinion it is a shame for the employer who is trying to sell himself as a prestigious, five star company…

Still it is not the first time when life proves that there is no problem that could not be turned to the opportunity. We packed our things and went to visit our fellow Lithuanians Vaidukas and Povkė. They are working in one of the best Taiba’ resort Vila Marola (which by the way, is profesionally managed beautiful place). We were already on our way when we found out that the most honored Lithuanian kitesurfer and windsurfer Viktoras and his friends are visiting Brazil at the same time. Thus, we decided to use the opportunity, save some money and find some place where we all could stay together. And what do you think? Through this year we have lived in all kind of places, like this one (provided by the same 5 star employer)…so now…this place is like a dream to us. Fresh fruit on the edge of our pool in the mornings, some kiting, windsurfing, photo and video shooting later during the day and evenings BBQs with the sound of rustling waves.

Personally I feel like Alice in wonderland.

Almost forgot… we still have one room free. Would anyone like to join Alice?
